For those interested in gardening and nature there is the Community Garden Group, the Village Beautification Group, the Conservation Group, and Green Circle Plant Nursery.

Upper Beaconsfield is a community to live, learn and belong. At the Community Centre, Child Care is provided at the Early Learning Centre (ELC). A nurse is visiting weekly to provide Maternal & Child Health services. The Toy Libary is open once a week. The Upper Beaconsfield Kindergartens Association offers a Playgroup, a Pre-Kinder and a Kinder Program. Beaconsfield Upper Primary School (BUPS) is a Government Primary School catering from Prep to Year 6.

The Upper Beaconsfield Scout Group is for young people aged 5 to 25.
